Groover alternatives: how they compare in 2026

Updated September 24, 2026

The closest alternatives to Groover are SubmitHub (credits per submission, with free standard credits) and Musosoup (a campaign fee, then curators offer free or paid coverage). Playlist Push and SoundCampaign add Spotify playlist and TikTok creator campaigns. If your real goal is TikTok videos using your sound rather than curator feedback, a pay-per-view marketplace such as Stembl or a managed agency such as Songfluencer is a different kind of tool.

Groover itself is good at one thing in particular: getting your track heard, with a reply, by curators, media, radio, labels and other music professionals. This guide compares the alternatives on what you pay for, the published starting price and what is guaranteed, with every competitor fact taken from their own site as of September 2026.

What Groover does

On Groover you pay per contact: usually 2 Grooviz (€2) to reach a curator or professional, with some top curators at 4 Grooviz. If you don't get feedback within 7 days, the Grooviz for those contacts come back automatically. Groover suggests contacting at least 50 curators and professionals (100 Grooviz) for the best results. The network includes playlist curators, blogs, media, radio stations, labels, bookers and sync supervisors. All of this is as of September 2026, per their pricing page.

Groover also offers Groover Ads, a managed ad service on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. The minimum budget is €300, including VAT where applicable and a 30% commission on the total budget, per their ads page.

What it does well: a guaranteed reply or your money back, a wide range of professionals beyond playlists, and a low price per contact. Who it suits: artists who want feedback and opportunities from the music industry, not only streams.

SubmitHub

SubmitHub works with credits. Premium credits start at $1 each and go down to $0.78 depending on how many you buy. Influencers only take premium credits. Standard credits are free: you get two every four hours, holding at most two at a time. As of September 2026, per their help page.

Who it suits: artists who want to test a song with curators before spending much, or who are looking for a free starting point. It is a natural first stop if you are looking for a free Groover alternative.

Musosoup

On Musosoup you pay a £42 campaign fee, only once your submission has been approved. Curators then send you offers, and you choose between free and paid coverage; curators set their own prices. If you don't receive any coverage, the campaign fee is refunded. The network includes blogs, playlist curators, radio, magazines and influencers on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. As of September 2026, per their site.

Who it suits: artists who prefer one fixed fee and then choosing which offers to accept, rather than paying per contact.

Playlist Push and SoundCampaign

Playlist Push runs Spotify playlist campaigns from $280 and TikTok creator campaigns from $350, per their homepage. On TikTok, you pay for creator reviews, not guaranteed posts, and a review that doesn't happen within 14 days comes back as account credit, per their TikTok page. Our Playlist Push alternatives guide covers it in detail.

SoundCampaign charges only for completed reviews and credits you back otherwise, with budgets from $80 to $5,000+ that can cover Spotify, TikTok and Meta, per their pricing page. Both as of September 2026.

Who they suit: artists who mainly want Spotify playlist placements, or who want to add TikTok creators alongside playlists.

If you want TikTok videos: Stembl and Songfluencer

Curator platforms are built around listening and feedback. If what you want is creators making TikTok videos with your sound, the tools are different.

Stembl is a pay-per-view marketplace, built in France and getting ready for launch. You set a budget (minimum €100) and a CPM between €1 and €5: what creators earn per 1,000 views. A platform fee is added on top and shown before checkout. A video uses none of your budget until it crosses 1,000 views; then all its views from zero are billed at your CPM, and new views as it grows. Views come from TikTok's official API, each video is checked at submission and before payout, and a rejected payout goes back into your budget. What is guaranteed: every euro spent pays for views that actually happened, so a fully spent budget always equals budget ÷ CPM × 1,000 views (at a €1 CPM, €1 = 1,000 views). What isn't guaranteed is how fast creators use the budget, or that they use all of it; unspent budget can be refunded once the campaign ends, as set out in the terms.

Songfluencer is a managed influencer marketing agency working on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. It doesn't publish pricing, as of September 2026, per their site. It suits labels and artists who want a team to run the campaign.

How to choose

  1. Name your goal. Feedback and industry contacts, playlist adds, press coverage, or TikTok videos using your sound. Each service above is built for one or two of these.
  2. Check what is guaranteed. A reply, a review, a refund rule or nothing upfront. Read it on the service's own page.
  3. Match the pricing to how you like to spend. Per contact (Groover), per credit (SubmitHub), one fee then offers (Musosoup), per campaign (Playlist Push, SoundCampaign) or per view (Stembl).
  4. Start with a small test. Send to a handful of well-chosen curators, or fund a small campaign, and look at what came back before spending more.
  5. Measure the result, not the activity. Replies are useful, but track playlist adds, coverage, or on TikTok the number of videos using your sound.

Where Stembl fits

Stembl is not a Groover replacement for curator feedback, press or radio: for that, Groover, SubmitHub and Musosoup are the better fit. Stembl fits when your goal is TikTok, and you want your budget tied to views on creator videos rather than to contacts or reviews. You can use both kinds of tool at different stages of a release.

Independent artists can also apply to the stembl Artist Fund, which funds the TikTok campaigns of 10 independent artists from a total of €10,000, as campaign credit (not cash) released in tiers based on results. Applying is free.

Frequently asked questions

For curator feedback, SubmitHub and Musosoup are the closest. For Spotify playlists and TikTok creators, Playlist Push and SoundCampaign. For TikTok videos paid per view, Stembl; for a managed TikTok campaign, an agency such as Songfluencer. The right one depends on your goal.

Is there a free alternative to Groover?

Musosoup curators can offer free coverage, but the £42 campaign fee applies once your submission is approved. You can also contact curators directly yourself, which costs time rather than money.

Is Groover worth it?

It can be if you want replies from curators, media, radio and labels. As of September 2026, per their site, a contact usually costs €2 and your Grooviz come back if there's no answer within 7 days. A reply is not a placement, so choose curators carefully and judge it on what you get back.

Groover vs SubmitHub: which is better?

Groover charges per contact, usually €2, and guarantees a reply within 7 days or your Grooviz back. SubmitHub sells premium credits from $1 down to $0.78 each and also has free standard credits. Groover covers a wide range of professionals; SubmitHub is a flexible option if you want to test on a small budget.

Groover vs Musosoup?

Groover charges per curator contacted. Musosoup charges a £42 fee once your submission is approved, then curators send you free or paid coverage offers, and the fee is refunded if you get no coverage. Groover suits targeted outreach; Musosoup suits waiting for offers and choosing among them.
