Community Guidelines
Last updated: April 7, 2026
Our Standards
Stembl is a community built on mutual respect between artists and creators. We expect everyone to act professionally, communicate honestly, and treat each other fairly. These guidelines apply to all content posted through Stembl campaigns and all interactions on our platform.
By using Stembl, you agree to follow these guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent bans.
Prohibited Content
Content created through Stembl campaigns must comply with TikTok's Community Guidelines as well as our own standards. The following content is strictly prohibited:
- Hate speech, discrimination, or harassment based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
- Graphic violence or promotion of violence
- Explicit sexual content or nudity
- Content promoting illegal activities, including drug use, weapons trafficking, or underage substance use
- Misinformation or deceptive content
- Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- Spam or misleading promotional content
Prohibited Behaviors
The following behaviors undermine the integrity of our platform and are not tolerated:
- Creating fake or duplicate accounts
- Using bots, view farms, or artificial engagement tools of any kind
- Manipulating view counts, likes, or other metrics
- Harassing, threatening, or bullying other users
- Impersonating other users or brands
- Sharing other users' personal information without their consent
- Circumventing platform rules or enforcement actions
For Creators
If you are a creator participating in Stembl campaigns, you must also follow these rules:
- Disclose sponsored content — always include #ad or an equivalent disclosure on campaign videos. This is both our policy and a legal requirement under FTC guidelines.
- Submit only original content — every video you submit must be created by you for the campaign.
- Follow campaign guidelines — respect the instructions set by the artist for each campaign.
- Respect third-party rights — do not use copyrighted music, sounds, or visuals without permission, beyond the artist's track provided in the campaign.
For Artists
If you are an artist running campaigns on Stembl, you must follow these rules:
- Only submit music you have the rights to promote. You must own or control the necessary rights for any tracks used in campaigns.
- Do not set misleading or deceptive campaign guidelines.
Reporting
If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please contact us at legal@stembl.com with as much detail as possible, including the relevant usernames, campaign names, and links to the content in question. We review all reports and take them seriously.
Enforcement
Violations are handled on a case-by-case basis. As a general framework:
- First offense — warning and content removal
- Second offense — temporary account suspension
- Severe or repeated violations — permanent ban and balance forfeiture
- Fraud (bots, view manipulation) — immediate permanent ban with no warning
We reserve the right to skip steps for severe violations. All enforcement decisions are made at our sole discretion.
Appeals
If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, you may contact legal@stembl.com within 30 days of the action. Please include your username, a description of the enforcement action, and why you believe it was incorrect. We will review your appeal and respond within 14 business days.
